BW Hilda Process

Description

This is just a process of how I make my art. Not exactly a tutorial. Explanation is below:

(1) At first, I make a really rough sketch of the pose. I'm trying hard not to add details here--
(2) On new layer, I make clean sketch so I know what details to put in.
(3) I make the clean sketch cleaner with eraser tool so it will look cleaner like a lineart.
(4) I fill in all the areas that needed to be colored. It's to make sure I don't miss any areas.
(5) I plan the colors to use and lay down the base colors with default sai pen tool.
(6) I adjust my pen tool density to 25% and chose the 3rd edge shape to put the shadows.
(7) I soften the edges with the pen tool by picking the color at the middle of the base color and shadow then paint on it again. Repeat until satisfied.
(8) To get rid of the ugly sketch lines, I paint on top.

Feel free to ask questions ' w ')
